Scott M. Ackerman, also from Garden City, received his Bachelors of Science from Kansas State University in 2004. He then finished his Doctorate of Optometry from Northeastern State University in 2008. Dr. Ackerman is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Adam J. Drees, another proud native of Garden City, received his Bachelors in Biology from Kansas State University followed by his Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry at Chicago in 2009. After optometry school he completed a year of residency training at Northeastern State University in family practice. Dr. Drees is a member of the American Optometric Association and Kansas Optometric Association.
Eliel Trejo, a native of Sublette, KS and a Wichita State University graduate, recently graduated with honors from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN with his Doctor of Optometry degree. During his final year, he completed externships involving private practice optometry and ocular disease management through clinic rotations in the Kansas City metro and at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center eye clinic in Wichita, KS.
